"At 08:45 am on the 17th September this year, my Veggie Trekkers got me to the summit of Kilimanjaro.
At 5,895, Kilimanjaro is Africa's tallest mountain. For 12 days I lived in my boots, yet at the end of the trek I remained in total comfort with no blisters.
The Veggie Trekkers provided the perfect support to my feet and ankles and were warm enough in the -10deg.C cold of summit night. My boots were versatile enough to be comfortably worn with different numbers of socks of different thicknesses as the conditions changed. The excellent lacing system enabled a variety of different tightnesses to be set according to whether I was ascending or descending.
I am greatly looking forward to more treks of this kind in the near future especially as my Veggie Trekkers are tailored for crampons."
