Working closely with our UK factory that makes all our Airseal footwear we have developed a boot specifically for Vegetarian Shoes for safety wear.
With the features you would expect like steel toe, padded collar, and padded bellows tongue. Also has D-ring type lace fastenings for speed lacing, rivets for extra strength and warm-lined and insulated throughout. Made with minimal seams on the uppers to improve water-resistance. Oil resistant-soles are slip-resistant with a large surface area grip pattern for comfort when standing all day. Stamped on the tongue with EN ISO 20345 2011 so can be used for site work or bought for work use etc. (These boots are certified for the European Community only).
This mk2 version also has a special, flexible, puncture resistant mid-sole.
Really nicely made, hard wearing boots.
Made in one of England's oldest shoe-making factories, established in 1881.
This style runs slightly large.
Please bear in mind when ordering this Airseal footwear that the sizing runs large by about half a size. You may wish to wear this style with thicker socks or use some of our insoles which make about a half size difference.
We try to give the best advice about sizing. Please remember sizes vary from style to style and brand to brand. The shape of the shoe can affect the fit as well as the length and width. If replacing a style with a newer version, remember shoes can stretch and mould and become looser over time. A new version of the same shoe can feel tighter and quite different to the old friends you have come to love. Shoes mould to the shape of your feet, more in the width than the length. If they are slightly snug in the width then they may give a little and become more comfortable. If the shoes or boots are tight lengthways then they are likely too small and you need to try the next size up.
Lastly, remember that insoles can REALLY make a difference when trying to get the right fit. Ours are quite thick but thinner ones are also available. In addition to making footwear more comfortable insoles can also help shoes and boots last longer.
