It complies with regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment (PPE).
It meets the requirements of EN ISO 20345:2022

Crafted with high-quality, breathable and water-resistant microfibre uppers. This 2mm thick, lightweight, Spanish 'Micro' material looks, feels and behaves like leather. It wears, folds, creases, ages and moulds to your feet like good quality leather. It is soft-to-the-touch, durable and takes little 'breaking in'.

Tough and Durable Steel Toe Caps
As the name suggests, the toes of these boots are reinforced with steel. Between the upper material and the lining there is an internal, 2mm thick, steel toe cap. Along with other quality components this makes the boots really tough and durable.

The foreparts of the boots are lined for comfort and insulation. Triple, heavy-duty stitching is used on the uppers for strength. The pull-on heel tags are extra tough and woven from recycled bottles. Oversized, reinforced, 12mm metal eyelets make lacing-up speedy and easy.

For those that like to personalise their boots, these bigger than average eyelets make it easy to use fat laces, flat laces, ribbons, para cord, twine, etc.

Supreme Comfort Vegan Soles
Day-long comfort comes from padded foam insoles.

These utilitarian boots, intended for industrial use, also have part-bellows tongues. This means the tongues are sewn into the uppers up to the third eyelet to increase water resistance and keep out debris.

The soles of these Vegan Steel Toe boots are thick and deep lugged and made for comfort, grip and durability. The sole has maximum traction from the classic mountaineering-type tread pattern, with 6mm deep lugs. Air Chambers in the dark grey sole can be seen through the translucent compound. These add cushioning, flexibility, and lightness. The cemented construction sole unit has the right amount of ‘squish’!

An internal steel shank is used to for support to the midsole and create structure to the boot.

These boots can be shined with polish. The neutral grey decorative stitching on the welt can be polished black if preferred.

Vegetan Micro Uppers
Water-resistance can be maintained and improved by using polish or dubbin, paying special attention to the stitched seams where water can ingress. Other, regular, non-solvent shoe care products can also be used. Contact with salt water is best fixed by rinsing with fresh water as soon as possible to dilute its corrosive effects. Avoid contact with solvents/petrol/chemicals which can damage the boots. If your boots get very wet, it is best to let them air dry naturally in a warm dry room. Don’t ‘force-dry’ them on a radiator.

The soles on these boots can be repaired or replaced by a good shoe repairer. -If not worn ‘beyond repair'. These boots really are tough. If looked after, they may last longer than you! but they are not completely indestructible.

To get the longest life from your boots, it is best, if possible, to rotate or alternate them with other footwear. This is true of leather and other shoes too. Even though the uppers are breathable, they are also moisture absorbing, just like leather. Airing out your footwear regularly can really help let them recover to give the longest and best possible service.
